In the semi-final, Sindhu beat Japanese Badminton star Nozomi Okuhara to secure an Olympic medal. Finally, in a close and intense Gold Medal game, Sindhu lost against Spain's Carolina Marin. Despite the loss, PV Sindhu created history.
