The Bhojpuri part of the song, sung in the female voice, depicts the traditional culture of ‘Bidaai’ in India where the bride leaves her parent’s house forever on the night of her wedding. Here Parvati, the bride, says how she is going to miss the rays of the sun in her courtyard, the shadow of her favourite mango tree, the sweet voice of the cuckoo and that swing she played on everyday.
