Public Health: "The science and art of preventing disease, prolonging life and improving quality of life through organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, public and private, communities and individuals." Optometry and Leadership: The optometry profession has perhaps historically discussed leadership and management mainly within the context of business and practice management, and as such has not engaged all clinicians.
