| Video Discription | Today we are headed to the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. The Kennedy Space Center is an easy day trip from Disney in Orlando or a great way to spend the day before or after your cruise departing from Cape Canaveral. We spend a full day here. In today's Kennedy Space Center tour, we'll spend a ton of time at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor's Center. At the Visitor's Center you'll find the Kennedy Space Center Atlantis exhibit, Rocket Garden, NASA Now +. Next (also known as the Journey to Mars), and more. We will also take you on the bus tour with us to the Apollo/Saturn V Center. Our day even ends with a Kennedy Space Center rocket launch which we see from Cocoa Beach. A few notes that I didn't have time to mention in the video: We didn't spend a lot of time in Heroes and Legends and would like to spend more time there later. There is also a fun interactive playground for kids ages 2-12. Since we don't have any little ones traveling with us, we didn't check out this area. It's located in the same building as the iMax theatre. And speaking of the iMax theatre, we didn't have time to check that out, either. I had mentioned in the video, we couldn't leave our dog much longer than we did so unfortunately this was something we had to cut. Space movies are shown here daily.
