| Video Discription | Somnath temple is the first jyotirlinga temple. It was previously built by lord chandra for lord shiva. Because chandra married 27 daughters of Daksha Prajapati but only he loved Rohini more than anyone. That hurt the feelings of other 26 wives so they complained about chandra to their father Daksha. Daksha gave 2 warnings to chandra but still he didn't change so Daksha cursed chandra to loose his shine. That curse made the world very dark so Lord Shiva changed the curse like 15 days to glow and 15 days to reduce glow. So chandra became very happy and build Somnath temple in gold. Later when it was destroyed Ravana rebuilt it in silver. Later when it got destroyed Lord Krishna rebuilt it in wood.. This is the main history of Somnath temple. But later this temple has been geting attacked 7 times and rebuilt it.
