Sharma, who will now be leading India in the T20I series, has shown respect to Sourav Ganguly, the new BCCI chairman. Rohit on Ganguly's Presidentship When asked about playing under Sourav Ganguly's presidentship of the BCCI, Rohit Sharma said that he has known the former Indian skipper for many years. ''I have known Dada for so many years. I have played along with him for India & in IPL. We discussed only on the selection of the team when we met'', said Rohit Sharma. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly and secretary Jay Shah held a face to face meeting Team India skipper Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma to plan a “roadmap” for Indian cricket on Thursday. The meeting happened right after BCCI announced the squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. However, head coach Ravi Shastri was not present at the meeting, but Ganguly is set to have a one-on-one with him at the Eden Garden during India's second Test match against Bangladesh according to reports.
