| Video Discription | These performers belongs to Sangali Taluka of Maharashtra District. As per their information, the instrument is commonly known as Tutari, Ransingha, Mugalsingha and Singhi by name in the region. The instrument was first played by Shringhi -a disciple of God Shiva in God"s marriage. He made this instrument by Nandi's horn. Later on Chatrapati Shivaji's war procession this instrument used and given the name "Ran-Singha". In Mugual period' it become a Mugual Singha. In temple procession, it called "Shringi".
