But, the new born is no human but an elephant. Then, Yamraj appears before Lord Vishnu and informs that he has come to take the newborn's life. After Yamraj takes the soul of the new born elephant, Lord Vishnu arrives in Kailash and informs Mahadev, who then breathes life into Ganesh.
